Based in Stockholm, Sweden, she began her musical studies at age of four, taking piano lessons with Claudia Liliana Zambrano in Pasto, Colombia. At six, she started drum lessons with Nixon Obando, and later entered the Batuta Foundation Pasto, where she began violin studies.

At nine, she joined the Youth Symphony Orchestra Foundation of Colombia (FOSJC) in Bogotá, continuing violin studies with professors Miguel Duarte and Miguel Guevara along with piano studies. She also received music theory classes and obtained her diploma in mid-2005. During these studies she participated with the FOSJC Orchestra under the direction of professors Ernesto Díaz and Ruth Lamprea.

In 2009 she began her music career at the University of the Andes, receiving piano lessons from María Bárbara Sampera de la Tejera. She completed composition studies with professor Santiago Lozano, and percussion studies with professor Sandra Sichacá. Both degree works were awarded: Degree Composition–Concerto No. 1 for Marimba and Symphony Orchestra, “Carnaval”, and Degree Recital–Percussion.

She participated in the V and VI Marimba Festival (2011, 2012), Marimba and Percussion Stage in Medellín (2013), Santa Catarina Music Festival – Brazil (2014), and was selected for the American Wind Symphony Orchestra – 58th Anniversary (2015) under the direction of Robert Austin Boudreau. She has received master classes in percussion from numerous renowned instructors including Pedro Carneiro, Conrado Moya, Nebojša Jovan Živković, and Li Biao.

She has participated as a supernumerary musician with the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia under various conductors including Carlos Izcaray, Rodolfo Fischer, and Oliver Grangean. She has performed several national premieres, including Concertino for Marimba and String Orchestra (Rihards Zaļupe) with the Orchestra of the University of the Andes. She served as principal percussionist in the premiere of the German short films with live music, “Stilleben” and “Deconstruct”, under the direction of the film music specialist Helmut Imig at IIIM Week 2014 (Intercultural Exchange of Images and Music). She has also performed as a supernumerary percussionist with the Orkestern Filialen in Stockholm.

She was selected to participate in Días de Música Contemporánea in February 2014, and in the First International String Quartet Festival of the Universidad Nacional (2014). She studied music composition for Film and Television with Ben Newhouse of Berklee College of Music. She received master classes in composition from composers Pablo Cristian Cetta of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, Cergio Prudencio (director of the Orquesta Experimental de Instrumentos Nativos), and Gustavo Leone of the University of Chicago – Department of Fine and Performing Arts of Loyola.

Her work “Unexpected” received the “Public Favorite Work” award in the 2nd Competition for Best Performance of the Music Department of the Universidad de los Andes. She was a finalist in the international Hit Like a Girl competition in 2016 and 2017. In 2017 she received a full scholarship for the Berklee Latino course in Bogotá, where she participated as a drummer.

In 2021, with a scholarship, she completed her Master of Music in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) with Summa Cum Laude honors at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.

A TRX Cymbals artist since 2016 and former drummer and orchestrator of the melodic death metal band Frantic Amber, she is a founding member of the Swedish melodic death-metalcore band, Distance Between, here she serves as a drummer, composer and orchestrator. She currently works with Spanish composer Lucas Vidal, with whom she has had the opportunity to record and conduct renowned orchestras such as Abbey Road Orchestra, Vienna Syncron Stage Orchestra and The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra (Smecky Music Studios). As a studio manager and music coordinator, she participates in various audiovisual projects with major production companies including The Deliverance (Netflix), Women in Blue (Apple TV+), and El Inmortal (Movistar+). Additionally, she completed her studies in Game Audio Production and Sound Design at Audio Production Academy and has collaborated on several video game projects, including The Misdventures of Captain Hornswaggle by The Game Assembly and Tiny Tree Talk by Noodleloop. Through these projects, she has demonstrated strong skills in composition, sound design, audio implementation using FMOD, Wwise, and Unreal Engine, as well as audio programming..
