Bio

Laura is a Colombian-born musician and composer based in Stockholm, Sweden. She began her musical journey at age four with piano, later expanding to drums, violin, and percussion. Trained in both performance and composition, she studied at Universidad de los Andes, where her works were awarded for both composition and percussion, and later earned a Master of Music in Contemporary Performance with Summa Cum Laude honors from Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.

Her diverse career includes performances with major orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia and international festivals across Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. She has worked as a percussionist, orchestrator, and drummer in genres ranging from contemporary classical to metal, becoming a TRX Cymbals artist and founding the band Distance Between.

Laura has also collaborated with acclaimed composer Lucas Vidal on international recording projects with ensembles including Abbey Road Orchestra, Syncron Stage Vienna and the City of Prague Philharmonic. She contributes as a studio manager and music coordinator for audiovisual productions on platforms like Netflix, Apple TV+, and Movistar+.

With a growing focus on game audio and interactive music, Laura has collaborated with The Game Assembly on the video games The Misdventures of Captain Hornswaggle and Freeloader (under development), and is currently studying Game Audio Production and Sound Design at Audio Production Academy. She is also skilled in implementing music and sound through FMOD, Wwise, Unreal Engine and Unity, combining her composition and orchestration expertise with technical integration to create immersive musical worlds for video games.
